Several of the Manchester United players have been reacting on social media websites after the Red Devils held Liverpool to a bore 0-0 draw at Anfield on Monday night.

There was plenty of anticipation in the build-up to the game but unfortunately the match failed to live up to the hype with very little action to speak of during a dull opening forty-five minutes.

Things got a little more exciting after the break with Zlatan Ibrahimovic missing United’s best chance when he sent a header wide before David De Gea kept the score at 0-0 shortly after with a superb save to deny Emre Can.

The Spanish international then pulled off one of the saves of the season so far as he tipped a stunning long-range effort from Philippe Coutinho around the post to ensure a point for Jose Mourinho’s team.

After the game, many of the players have taken to social media to react to the disappointing match with Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini both posting messages to their followers on Twitter.

Paul Pogba, De Gea, Eric Bailly, Daley Blind, Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia also took to Instagram to upload photos and messages with many pleased with their hard working performance at Anfield.

Check out what the United players have said below:

Good game, hard work, good team spirit… on to the next one @manchesterunited #mufc
