Man Utd Star Named In Official Europa League Team of the Week

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been named in the official Europa League Team of the Week following his excellent performance during a 4-1 victory over Fenerbahce on Thursday night.

Pogba has endured a difficult start to life at Old Trafford following his world record move from Juventus with the French international failing to live-up to his hefty price-tag so far.

However, the 23-year-old was back to his best last night as he opened the scoring from the penalty spot before getting himself on the score-sheet again just before half time with a superb strike from outside of the area.

United went on to win the game 4-1 thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard but it was Pogba’s display that really caught the eye and the midfielder has now been rewarded with a place in the Europa League Team of the Week.

United fans will be hoping the Frenchman will use last night’s performance as a spring-board to kick-start his career at Old Trafford and will looking for another top display from him against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
