Several of the Liverpool players have been celebrating on social media after the Merseysiders moved top of the Premier League table with a resounding 6-1 victory over Watford at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho put Liverpool in control with quickfire goals midway through the first half before Emre Can sent the hosts in to the break leading 3-0 with a header shortly before half time.
Roberto Firmino got in on the act before Mane grabbed his second of the game to make it 5-0 and Watford pulled back a consolation, substitute Gini Wijnaldum completed the rout with a late sixth.
The victory sees Liverpool climb to the top of the Premier League table as we head in to the international break so it’s easy to see why many of the players have now been celebrating on social media after the game.
Simon Mignolet, Loris Karius, Emre Can, Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Ovie Ejaria have all uploaded photos and messages to Instagram while Sheyi Ojo and Nathaniel Clyne have also posted messages to Twitter.
