[Video Goals] West Ham 1-5 Arsenal: Sanchez Bags Hat-Trick As Gunners Hit Five

By on December 3, 2016

Alexis Sanchez scored a stunning hat-trick as Arsenal thrashed West Ham 5-1 at the London Stadium this evening.

We started brightly and eventually opened the scoring midway through the first half when Francis Coquelin won the ball high up the pitch and fed Alexis Sanchez who raced clear on goal before squaring for Mesut Ozil for a tap in to make it 0-1.

Arsene Wenger’s men continued to dominate but wasted several chances to double our advantage so we went in at the break with just one goal separating the two sides.

West Ham grew in to the game during the second half but Arsenal got the vital second goal and it was that man Sanchez who burst in to the area and fired home in to the far corner from a tight angle.

Sanchez then made it 3-0 with another superb strike before Andy Carroll got his annual header against Arsenal after Dimitri Payet’s free-kick came off the bar.

However, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain secured the win with a lovely curler from the edge of the area before Sanchez completed his hat trick with a superb chipped finish in the 87th minute.
