[Tweets] Mkhitaryan Reacts On Twitter After Scoring Winner Against Tottenham

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been reacting on Twitter after he scored the only goal during Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford this afternoon.

After a difficult start to life in Manchester following his summer move from Borussia Dortmund, the Armenian international has recently forced his way in to Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven with some excellent displays.

Mkhitaryan made his fifth start out of the last six games against Spurs this afternoon and the attacker opened the scoring with a fine goal midway through the first half after being put clear by Ander Herrera in the 29th minute.

It was the 27-year-old’s first goal in front of the Old Trafford faithful and it turned out to be the only goal of the game as United inflicted Tottenham to only their second defeat of the season to move to within three points of the north Londoners in the Premier League table.

Mkhitaryan has now taken to Twitter express his delight at scoring his first goal at home and hailed an ‘incredible’ win for United, while Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick and Ashley Young have also posted messages on the social media site.
