[Teams] Middlesbrough vs Liverpool: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on December 14, 2016

Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium this evening.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to drop goalkeeper Loris Karius after the German put in some poor performances lately with Simon Mignolet coming back in between the sticks tonight.

Dejan Lovren passed a late fitness test so starts at the back but Joel Matip is not included in the squad due to a foot injury meaning Ragnar Klavan comes in to the back four.

Emre Can also misses out so Gini Wijnaldum keeps his place in midfield alongside Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Valdes, Barragan, Chambers, Gibson, Fabio, Clayton, De Roon, Forshaw, Traore, Fischer, Negredo

Subs: Guzan, Nsue, Bernardo, Leadbitter, Downing, Rhodes, Nugent

Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Firmino, Origi

Subs: Karius, Moreno, Lucas, Stewart, Alexander, Ejaria, Woodburn
