By on December 18, 2016

Tottenham moved to within just one point of the top four after coming from behind to beat Burnley 2-1 at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

Burnley took a shock lead in the 21st minute when Ashley Barnes was on hand to take advantage of some sloppy defending from the hosts to poke home the opening goal.

However, Tottenham levelled things up just six minutes later when Kyle Walker squared the ball in to the box for Dele Alli who drilled home in to the bottom corner for 1-1 in the 27th minute.

The turnaround was then complete when  Danny Rose lashed home a powerful left-footed shot from a tight angle in the 71st minute to make it 2-1 to Spurs.

The win sees Mauricio Pochettino’s side move to within just one point of fourth-placed Arsenal after they lost 2-1 to Manchester City this afternoon.
