Liverpool will be looking to close the gap on Chelsea with a win when they take on Swansea City at Anfield this lunchtime.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to name Joel Matip on the bench after the Merseysiders were finally given clearance from FIFA on Friday evening to play the defender following their dispute with the Cameroon FA.

The Reds boss makes several changes form the side that beat Plymouth in the FA Cup in midweek with Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren and James Milner all coming in to the defence while Simon Mignolet starts in goal.

Jordan Henderson is passed fit to start in midfield alongside Emre Can and Gini Wijnaldum while Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho support Roberto Firmino in attack.

Mignolet; Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner; Henderson, Wijnaldum, Can; Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho.
