Liverpool take on Stoke at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday. Here is a preview with team news, line-ups, betting tips and predicted score

Britannia Stadium

Liverpool will look to bounce back from their disappointing draw with Bournemouth when they take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds saw their top four hopes dented after conceding late on to draw 2-2 with the Cherries at Anfield in midweek so Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to get back to winning ways this weekend.

That result has left Liverpool third in the table but with fifth-placed Arsenal six points behind with two games in hand the race for Champions League qualification is set to go down to the wire.

Stoke head in to the weekend action off the back of a disappointing defeat to Burnley which made it three losses on the bounce so Mark Hughes is demanding a response from his players tomorrow.

Team News

Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of Philippe Coutinho as the Brazilian playmaker is struggling with illness but Klopp will give him every chance to prove he’s available for selection.

Sadio Mane has been ruled out for the rest of the season after it was confirmed the attacker needs surgery on his knee injury while Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson remain unavailable with foot and thigh injuries respectively.

Daniel Sturridge is pushing for a start after coming off the bench last time out but Divock Origi is expected to keep his place up front after scoring against Bournemouth.

Stoke hope Xherdan Shaqiri will be able to return to the squad following a two-month injury lay off while Jon Walters faces a late fitness test due to concussion.

Marc Muniesa and Mame Biram Diouf are also minor doubts after picking up knocks at Burnley in midweek.

Likely Line-Ups

Predicted Score

Stoke 1-2 Liverpool: Liverpool have their injury problems to contend with but they’ve won six of their last seven league games against Stoke and the hosts aren’t playing well right now. If Coutinho is passed fit it will be a huge lift and I think the Reds will do enough to edge it 2-1.

Liverpool are the favourites to get the three points but its always difficult to predict games in the Premier League and that’s where Odinbet comes in….
