Chelsea will look to take another huge step towards reclaiming the title when they take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Blues overcame a major potential stumbling block in their bid to lift the title after beating Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in midweek thanks to a double from Eden Hazard.

That win saw Chelsea maintain their seven point lead over second-placed Tottenham so with just eight games remaining, another victory on the south Coast tomorrow would leave Antonio Conte’s men in an excellent position to win the Premier League.

However, Bournemouth are on a fine run themselves having extended their unbeaten record to five games after grabbing a late 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield in midweek so Eddie Howe’s side will be confident of causing an upset tomorrow.

Team News

Chelsea have been handed a major boost with the news that Victor Moses is fit and available for selection after overcoming a toe injury that’s kept him out for the last two games.

Conte says he must decide whether to give him an immediate recall or stick with the side that beat City but I think we’ll see Moses come back in while Nemanja Matic is also pushing for a recall.

Bournemouth will hand a late test to Dan Gosling as he’s struggling with a knee injury while Andrew Surman, Junior Stanislas, Callum Wilson, Adam Federici and Rhoys Wiggins are all out.

Tyrone Mings serves the final of his five-match suspension but Ryan Fraser is back in contention.

Likely Line-Ups

Predicted Score

Bournemouth 1-2 Chelsea: The Blues have been grinding out the results in recent weeks and they will be under pressure to do so again if Spurs close the gap to four points with a win over Watford in Saturday’s early kick off. Bournemouth are a dangerous side and will no doubt give the champions-elect a good game but I think Chelsea will edge it to secure another vital win.
