The Manchester United squad has been revealed plus we have the latest team news ahead of the first leg of their Europa League quarter final with Anderlecht.

The United squad flew over to Belgium this afternoon and Jose Mourinho held his pre-match press conference this evening where he gave reporters the latest team news.

The Portuguese coach confirmed that Wayne Rooney hasn’t travelled as he’s still not considered fit enough to return to action having missed the last two games with an ankle problem.

Mourinho says the 31-year-old isn’t in a fit state to face Anderlecht so he’s remained in Manchester to continue to work on his fitness ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The Reds boss told ManUtd.com:

“He is not happy with his condition. He’s trying to work, which he does, but he’s not confident, he’s not happy.

“He has bad feelings with his ankle and he’s not ready to play. Let’s see for the weekend, let’s see for next week. We don’t have many players and need everyone to try to be available. For tomorrow, no.”

However, there is better news on Antonio Valencia as he took part in training this morning after recovering from a knock and has been included in the squad that flew-out today.

Goalkeeper David De Gea is also back in contention after sitting out the win over Sunderland at the weekend but Sergio Romero could retain his place between the sticks having played in all the previous Europa League games.

Ashley Young also returned to training today after missing the Sunderland win but the versatile midfielder wasn’t included in the travelling party that landed in Belgium earlier this evening.
