Manchester United will look to continue their push for the top four when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

Here is the team I think Jose Mourinho will pick for the game:

Goalkeeper: Sergio Romero was recalled for Thursday night’s Europa League win over Anderlecht but I think we’ll see number one David De Gea brought back in for this important Premier League clash on Sunday.

Defence: Mourinho has problems at the back as Marcos Rojo has joined the injury list after being stretchered off last night. Phil Jones is still recovering from a foot injury while Chris Smalling is also unavailable due to a knee injury leaving limited options in central defence.

Therefore, Daley Blind is expected to start alongside Eric Bailly with Matteo Darmian getting a recall at left-back in place of Luke Shaw. Mourinho has hinted that Ashley Young is fresh so he’s likely to replace Antonio Valencia at right-back.

Midfield: Ander Herrera didn’t start against Anderlecht as a booking would have ruled him out of any potential semi-final and Mourinho has confirmed the Spaniard will be recalled on Sunday.

Michael Carrick is expected to make way with Marouane Fellaini also coming back in to the side which would see Paul Pogba moved in to a more advanced central role.

Attack: United have been rocked by the news that Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t play again this season after suffering a serious knee injury last night so Marcus Rashford will lead the line up front. The youngster proved to be the match-winner against Anderlecht so he’ll be looking to continue his fine form against Burnley.

Jesse Lingard could retain his place in attack but Anthony Martial is likely to get a recall with Henrikh Mkhitaryan given a breather having opened the scoring against Anderlecht.

Juan Mata is unlikely to play again this season but Wayne Rooney is an option for Mourinho after recovering from an ankle problem – although he’s expected to be named on the bench.

Here is how we think United will line-up:
