By on April 22, 2017

Chelsea booked their place in the final of the FA Cup thanks to a thoroughly entertaining 4-2 victory over Tottenham at Wembley this evening.

The Blues opened the scoring in the 5th minute as Willian fired home a superb free-kick before Harry Kane levelled things up less than 15 minutes later with a clever header.

Chelsea restored their advantage shortly before half-time when Willian converted from the penalty spot after Hueng-min Son was adjudged to have brought down Victor Moses in the area.

Spurs once again drew level early in the second half as Christian Eriksen found Dele Alli with a stunning ball over the top and the England international slid home for 2-2.

However, Eden Hazard came off the bench to put Chelsea in front for the third time as he fired home a left-footed shot from the edge of the area in the 75th minute.

Any hopes of another comeback from Tottenham were extinguished as the Blues sealed the win with a rocket from Nemanja Matic as the midfielder found the top corner from 25 yards.

Chelsea have now booked their place in the FA Cup final where they’ll meet either Arsenal or Manchester City.
