Managers are now making plans for the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, more on the future of Michael Keane…

Burnley defender Michael Keane is ready to snub interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in favour of a £30m switch to Tottenham this summer, according to a report in the Mirror.

Keane has been excellent for Burnley since joining the club on a permanent deal from United in 2015 and has developed in to one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old has played a key role in helping Sean Dyche’s men try to retain their top-flight status for another season while his potential has been rewarded at international level after Keane was handed his England debut against Germany last month.

The defender has also attracted plenty of interest from the upper echelons of the Premier League with the Mirror reporting that Liverpool and Spurs are showing a keen interest in signing him while United are also reportedly hoping to lure him back to Old Trafford.

Jurgen Klopp needs to strengthen his options at the back as his leaky defence has undermined any potential title challenge this season while Mourinho is also seemingly on the market for another centre-back with Marcos Rojo facing up to nine months on the sidelines.

However, it seems Keane is ready to snub the likes of United and Liverpool as the Telegraph claim he favours a move to Tottenham and is ready to make a £30m switch to White Hart Lane this summer.

Burnley know they are likely to lose Keane this summer and he would be a superb addition if Tottenham could win the race for his signature, but until a deal is done there is still the chance he could end up at Anfield or even back at Old Trafford.
