Manchester United will be looking to secure their place in the Europa League final when they take on Celta Vigo at Old Trafford tonight.

The Red Devils took control of the tie having come away with a vital away goal after Marcus Rashford secured a tight 1-0 victory in the first leg over in Spain last week.

United are therefore the heavy favourites to finish the job on home soil this evening to book their place in the final in Stockholm where they’ll probably meet Ajax on May 24th.

Jose Mourinho has made no secret that the Europa League is his priority as they look to win a trophy and secure Champions League qualification for next season.

United’s chances of finishing in the top four in the Premier League took a huge hit after they lost to Arsenal last weekend so it seems it’s the Europa League or bust for the Manchester giants.

Team News

United didn’t suffer any fresh injury concerns against Arsenal but Marouane Fellaini is available again as his suspension only applies to domestic matches.

Mourinho is expected to make several changes to his starting eleven with Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Daley Blind, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford all set for recalls.

Sergio Romero is also likely to come back in between the sticks having been United’s first choice keeper in Europe this season so David De Gea will make way.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw have all been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Celta Vigo are boosted by the return to fitness of midfielder Pablo Hernandez but Giuseppe Rossi continues to miss out with a serious injury.

Predicted Score

Man Utd 2-0 Celta Vigo: United have a formidable record in Europe having progressed in each of the last 18 occasions when they won the first leg away from home and it’s difficult to see that run ending tonight. Celta looked a limited side last week but I think they will make life more difficult for United this evening, however, I’m backing the hosts to ease to a 2-0 win to book their place in the final.

Betting Tips

Just like us, the guys at https://www.footballbets.tips/ think this is going to be a reasonably close game tonight and United are the 8/15 favourites to win this game with the bookmakers. If you want better odds then I like the look of United to win 2-0 at 6/1 while we can get very tempting odds of 16/1 if we also throw in Marcus Rashford as the first goalscorer.
