Hull vs Tottenham Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Prediction
Tottenham take on Hull City at the KCOM Stadium on Sunday. Here is a preview with team news, line-ups, betting tips and predicted score
Tottenham will look to end the season on a positive note when they take on Hull City at the KCOM Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs put up a good fight but once again they fell just short as Chelsea stormed their way to the Premier League title but Mauricio Pochettino still has plenty to be proud of from this season.
The north Londoners are guaranteed to finish second in the table which is their best finish in 54 years and their current points total of 83 would have won the title in each of the last eight campaigns.
Tottenham showed their potential once again after thrashing fallen champions Leicester City 6-1 at the King Power in midweek with Harry Kane moving clear in the Golden Boot race thanks to a sensational four-goal haul.
Hull on the other hand are heading to the Championship with a run of just four points from their last six games consigning them to an 18th-placed finish.
Spurs welcome Kieran Trippier back in to the squad after he missed the Leicester game with concussion so Moussa Sissoko should drop out after failing to impress in midweek.
Kyle Walker will face a late fitness test on an ankle injury which kept him out of the trip to the King Power but Danny Rose, Erik Lamela and Harry Winks are definitely out.
Hull have a lengthy injury list to deal with as Lazar Markovic, Ryan Mason, David Meyler and Moses Odubajo are among those ruled out while Evandro, Harry Maguire and Abel Hernandez are all major doubts.
Hull 0-2 Tottenham: Spurs were rampant in midweek and another performance like that could end in humiliation for the Tigers. However, both teams have nothing left to play for and I expect this match to have an ‘end of season’ feel about it. Kane will be hoping to get among the goals to boost his Golden Boot chances and I can see him leading Spurs to a routine win.
Spurs are the 1/2 favourites to win this game with the bookmakers but for those who want a little extra value, here are some other bets I like the look of:
- Both teams to score NO at: 6/5 – a £10 bet would return £22
- Exact score of 2-0 Spurs at: 15/2 – a £10 bet would return £85
- Kane to score first in a 2-0 Spurs win at: 14/1 – a £10 bet would return £150
