[Team] Sydney FC vs Liverpool: Gerrard & Carragher Start

Liverpool take on Sydney FC in their end-of-season friendly at the ANZ Stadium this morning and Jurgen Klopp has named a unique line-up for the game.

Club legend Steven Gerrard is back in the famous Liverpool shirt for one last time as the youth team coach starts in midfield along with Lucas Leiva and Youngster Ben Woodburn.

Jamie Carragher also makes another appearances for his beloved Reds as he lines-up at the back along with Dejan Lovren, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alberto Moreno.

Youngster Wilson gets a run-out in attack as he starts with Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge with Steve McManaman named among the substitutes.

James Milner, Gini Wijnaldum, Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez miss the game due to minor knocks.

Here is the line-up;

Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Carragher, Moreno, Lucas, Gerrard, Woodburn, Wilson, Firmino, Sturridge.
