Star To Undergo Liverpool Medical On Thursday After Reds Agree £10m Deal

Andy Robertson will undergo his medical and discuss personal terms with Liverpool tomorrow ahead of his £10m move from Hull City, according to Sky Sports

Managers are now pressing ahead with their plans for the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, Andy Robertson is closing-in on his move to Liverpool….

Andy Robertson will undergo his medical and discuss personal terms with Liverpool tomorrow ahead of his £10m move from Hull City, according to Sky Sports News.

Jurgen Klopp has already snapped-up striker Dominic Solanke from Chelsea while winger Mohamed Salah arrived from AS Roma but a new left-back is next on the agenda for the Reds boss.

James Milner was deployed in the unfamiliar position for the majority of last season and while the 31-year-old impressed, Klopp knows he needs a long-term solution at left-back.

Several names have been linked with a move to Anfield this summer but Robertson has emerged as the prime target with Sky Sports News claiming a £10m deal has been agreed with Hull.

Robertson was given permission to leave the Tigers’ pre-season tour in Portugal earlier this week to fly back to England and the news outlet says he’ll now undergo his medical and finalise personal terms with Liverpool on Thursday.

As long as there are no late complications, the 23-year-old will become the Merseysiders third major signing of the summer after Liverpool beat off competition from a whole host of Premier League and European clubs [via Sky Sports].

Robertson made his name at Dundee United before joining Hull in 2014 and he was one of the rare plus points during what was otherwise a disappointing campaign last season that saw them relegated to the Championship.
