[Teams] Liverpool vs Arsenal: Confirmed Line-Ups

Both sides will be looking to make an early statement in the Premier League title race when Liverpool welcome Arsenal to Anfield this afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to drop Simon Mignolet from the matchday squad with Loris Karius coming in between the sticks. Joe Gomez and Alberto Moreno start at the back while Erme Can is passed fit to start in midfield alongside Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum.

Arsene Wenger has surprisingly started Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain despite speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool and Chelsea while Sead Kolasinac drops to the bench with Laurent Koscileny returning from suspension.

Alexandre Lacazette is also dropped with Danny Welbeck starting up front and Alexis Sanchez returning from an abdominal injury.
