[Teams] Man City vs Liverpool: Confirmed Line-Ups

Both sides will be looking to make an early statement in the Premier League title race when Manchester City welcome Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.

Pep Guardiola is without Vincent Kompnay so John Stones comes in to the defence alongside Nicolas Otamendi while Sergio Aguero joins Gabriel Jesus in attack.

Jurgen Klopp has recalled Simon Mignolet between the sticks with Loris Karius dropping to the bench while Ragnar Klavan also comes in to the defence in place of Dejan Lovren.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is named on the bench after completing his move to Liverpool on deadline day while Trent Alexnader-Arnold starts at right-back.
