[Video Goals] Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth: Welbeck Bags Brace For On-Song Gunners

By on September 9, 2017

Danny Welbeck scored twice as Arsenal got back on track with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Emirates this afternoon.

We started brightly and opened the scoring in the sixth minute as Danny Welbeck found the bottom corner via his shoulder following a lovely Sead Kolasinac cross.

It was 2-0 midway through the first half as a fine move involving Mesut Ozil and Welbeck led to Alexandre Lacazette curling home a beauty from the edge of the area in the 27th minute.

The win was virtually secured when Welbeck made it 3-0 in the 50th minute as the England international found the far corner with a well-placed low finish after being found by Aaron Ramsey.

We squandered further chances to add some gloss to the scoreline so we had to settle for a 3-0 victory that moves us up to ninth in the table.
