Tottenham Hotspur get back to Premier League action following their superb win over Borussia Dortmund when they take on Swansea at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s provided a team news and injury update.

The Spurs boss confirmed that he’ll continue to be without three of his first team regulars with Erik Lamela, Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama still working their way back to full fitness.

Lamela has been out for 11 months since suffering a hip injury last season and the Argentinean international is now running outside as he closes in on making his long-awaited comeback.

Rose is also still nursing a knee ligament injury that he picked up back in January with the left-back expected to return to training over the coming weeks.

Wanyama’s injury is less severe but the midfielder is still unavailable for selection after suffering a knee problem in training shortly before the draw with Burnley last month.

There was some positive news from Pochettino as the Tottenham boss confirmed that young attacker Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is back in full training after recovering from a foot injury.

Pochettino told TottenhamHotspur.com:

Erik Lamela (hips)
Is progressing well with outdoor training at an advanced stage of his rehabilitation.

Danny Rose (knee)
Continuing rehabilitation with an aim of returning to training in the coming weeks.

Victor Wanyama (knee)
Undergoing treatment and rehabilitation after sustaining injury in training prior to Burnley fixture.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou
Has reintegrated with first team training following a foot injury.

Tottenham welcome Swansea to Wembley on Saturday evening looking to continue their recent good form having registered impressive wins over Everton and Dortmund this past week.
