[Video Highlights] Arsenal 1-0 Doncaster: Walcott On Target For Wasteful Gunners

Arsenal booked their place in the draw for the fourth round of the League Cup with an unconvincing 1-0 victory over Doncaster at the Emirates tonight.

We started well and had some chances to take an early lead but had to wait until the 25th minute to break the deadlock as Theo Walcott finished well after being found by a lovely chipped pass by Alexis Sanchez.

Walcott then had our best chance to make it 2-0 but he squandered a golden chance after being put through one-on-one by Olivier Giroud early in the second half.

We continued to waste a number of opportunities to get the second goal that would have put the game to bed and it gave Doncaster the confidence to push for a late equaliser.

Thankfully we held on to book our place in the fourth round draw with a 1-0 win.
