Arsenal have been handed a double injury boost as Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott have been snapped in training today ahead of Monday night’s clash with West Bromwich Albion.

Ozil missed last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge due to a knee injury and also sat out the League Cup victory over Doncaster Rovers last Wednesday night.

Arsene Wenger suggested the German international was close to returning to full training while speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday morning.

It looks like Ozil is now going to be back in contention for a starting spot against West Brom tomorrow night as the playmaker has been spotted training at London Colney this afternoon.

Walcott made a rare start in attack against Doncaster and scored the winning goal with a fine finish midway through the first half but he limped off after the break after taking a kick to his knee.

Wenger confirmed Theo would be checked by the clubs medical team but it seems the injury wasn’t anything serious as he was also able to take part in full training today.

However, there was no Danny Welbeck as the striker has been ruled out until after the international break with a groin injury while Calum Chambers missed training today as he’s nursing a hip problem.
