Really! Bendtner needs to go!

Nicklas-Bendtner- Arsenal

As I said in my game preview earlier, Nicklas Bendtner will probably play in the FA Cup tie and must use the opportunity to prove to the fans that he has what it takes to make it permanently in the Arsenal set-up. He was in the starting eleven but did he perform? I don’t think so. I was thoroughly criticized in my earlier post for saying Bendtner was not good enough for the Gunners. By the way the game went and the Dane’s performance, I feel totally vindicated.

Seriously we need quality back-up players so that the manager can rotate his squad around. Too long have we been saddled with mediocre players like Bendtner who is taking up a slot which could have been used to purchase another player or further the development of a younger generation of players.

VOdds

No doubt Bendtner was a highly talented youngster in the academy but like so many before him, he just does not seem to be able to make the grade. It would be better for his development if he moves to another club in England of elsewhere in Europe where he might get a game more regularly. He has had his chances and it’s time for Arsene to look at other talented youngsters in the frame that may potentially make the grade to be first choice players. We have no lack of depth in that area with JET, Afobe, Watt and Freeman all waiting in the wings.

I can not but support you. He is basket mouth. He claimed to be up to Adebayo yet he is worst. Wenger should sell him and bring forward younger boys who are desperate to perform.

The only advantage he brings to the club that i know is his height and he is of recent not using it well. When he misses ball he laugh as if we paid him to laugh or miss ball.

The best for him would be to loan him if wenger have a tie with him. Otherwise let him be sold out to his desired club instead of occupying space. If i have the opportunity to sell Arsenal players or dash players out, Bendtner will be the first one followed by Diaby.

Bendtner is horrible, he has been given chance after chance. How long r we going to be waiting?? He is not even showing signs of possessing the quality we need. Lets face the facts, Bendtner has the grace of a crippled ballerina, the finishing ability of a blind elephant and the mobility of a bag of cement. Denilson should also be soon to follow him out the door, please

It’s a bit moody to leave someone on the bench for a few months and then get rid of him because he didn’t score on his first match back.

We have a load of matches in Jan/Feb and will need all of our established squad, and Bendtnar has been with us for a while now. If he fails to make a mark in his inevitable opportunities in the second half of this season then I expect we will see him move on this summer.

Lol the boy has been off injured for how long. He comes back grabs some goals for us. Finally gets a start plays poorly but never gave up and put walcott through with a great ball. Them two have good link up play , Wait for the boy to get a proper run in the team.

Terrible decision to criticize some one playing poorly when the whole team wasn’t up to scratch but never gave up and they came back in a fa cup match. Bendtner has proved he can score goals and assist when needed most and your article has no grounds whats so ever.

I will second the suggestion because he has failed to be above average. He has failed to justify why he was kept. All the talk but not walking the walk. Sell him and cut the cost of keeping him. Alongside him out should be Ashavin. He is such one trick pony that he is short to requirent of players we require in the club. Walcott needs to play a lot more and Vela might have beaten that Leeds GK in FA Cup match.

I am so relieved to read your post. N52 MUST be offloaded the only thing he has consistantly done for us is be terrible! i try to support him everytime he takes to the pitch but all 140 times ive seen him in an arsenal shirt he has LARGELY dissappionted (minus header vs stoke last season) at arsenal we should expect exceptional quality. The age excuse is ridiculous. HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

I feel that a loan arrangement would benefit both Bendtner AND Arsenal.
Bendther, because it would bring him down to earth, give him more playing time and make him realise the need for an improvement in his game. Arsenal, because of the opportunity to bring in fringe strikers, just waiting for the chance to move up a stage in their careers.

yeah, f*cking chuck him on the wing with chamakh in the center, then you’ll see the best of bendtner!

.. use your brain, the only time he can play on the wing is if he is a target man and can switch with RVP and get to the center. useless supporters, useless.

he can play as a center forward, that much is true and it’s supported by all his stats and many performances last year.

Bendtner has been given his chance???????????????????????????????????????.

You must be crazy to believe that, He has always been no. 3 if not 4 striker.

He has been given a few games and surprisingly, he has done very well in those until of late and I don’t think he is to blame as he gets only a few games which are far in between and not to mention that he is coming back from what was being said to be a potentially career threatening injury, something his critics always manage to leave out when criticizing him but still they overelaborate when justifying Robin Van Persie’s poor form.

In the last one year, Bendtner has been the 3rd most prolific player at Arsenal with 13 goals from 32 games second only from Samir Nasri with 17 goals from 51 games and Cesc Fabregas with 14 goals of which most of them are penalties. Also Nasri has cracked in a few penalties making Bendtner Arsenal’s top scorer of year 2010 from open play.

He has really, really, struggled with his groin injury but no one is willing to be lenient with him as they are with Robin Van Persie despite the fact that Van Persie has only 2 goals to show in this season as compared to Bendtner’s 4 goals. You say Van Persie is coming back from injury, while Bendtner also is with his injury this season lasting longer than Van Persie’s. How hypocritical.

Bendtner at 22 has been having almost similar statistics with Van Persie 28 who many of you consider perfect and you still think he hasn’t made the grade?!.

With 16 goals and 6 assists since the start of last season where he has played 42 games, 17 of them as a Substitute, I don’t know what else people want him to do, especially now that he seriously looks to be struggling and out of form, something that even the Thierry Henry’s of this World know that does happen every now and then to every athlete.

I know it is almost Blasphemous to mention the name Robin Van Persie in the same line with Nicklas Bendtner but that is as of now, by the time Bendtner is 28, he will have scored many, many more goals than Van Persie and made much more impact if he follows his good trend that many prefer to overlook and my only wish is if he will still be doing it with Arsenal.

After all, who was Robin Van Persie in 2005?, The year he was at the age which Nicklas Bendtner is now. He was nothing, Bendtner is the ruling top striker in Arsenal for the year considering goals scored and not emotions people feel and the Reigning Danish Player of the Year and not to mention the only one of 2 Arsenal players who scored in the World Cup!.

He hasn’t made the grade…………………..What an uninformed conclusion?.

By the way, The “vindicated” you are talking about is totally nonsense.

Bendtner has over and over again proven he is a capable striker but he always never makes the next game, how do you expect him to grow in stature and confidence.

I always feel very good when he is called upon as a substitute as he is one man I can always swear he will try and shoot and a few of them does go in making him one of the very few strikers who have NEVER, EVER had a goal draught and if you think he has ever had one, tell me about it i need to know to change my opinion.

In my opinion, Strikers are meant to score before everything else, then hold up play after that and I think Bendtner does pretty much of that so, I don’t see your point.

Yes, that’s it I dont’t see your point.
