[Video Goals] Tottenham 3-1 Real Madrid: Alli Nets Double To Secure Famous Win

Dele Alli scored twice as Tottenham beat Real Madrid 3-1 at Wembley to book their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

It was a lively start and Spurs broke the deadlock midway through the first half when Harry Winks found Kieran Trippier with a superb ball and the full-backs cross was turned home by Alli from close range for 1-0 in the 27th minute.

The England international then doubled Tottenham’s lead early in the second half as his shot from the edge of the area found the back of the Madrid net via a deflection in the 56th minute.

Spurs were in dreamland when Christian Eriksen slotted home for 3-0 in the 65th minute following a swift counter-attack from a Madrid corner.

The reigning European champions pulled one back with ten minutes to go as Cristiano Ronaldo fired home a loose ball but Spurs held on to secure a famous 3-1 victory that books their place in the knockout stages of the competition.
