Chelsea booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League with a comfortable 4-0 victory over 10-man Qarabag this evening.

The Blues got off to the perfect start as Sadygov was sent off for a push on Willian as the attacker raced clear on goal inside the area. Eden Hazard stepped up to convert the resulting spot kick to make it 0-1 in the 21st minute.

Chelsea doubled their advantage 15 minutes later and it was a stunning goal as Hazard and Willian exchanged passes before the Brazilian international cooly slotted home for 0-2 to put the visitors in control at the break.

Antonio Conte’s men ensured any hopes of a shock comeback were extinguished when Cesc Fabregas scored a re-taken penalty to make it 3-0 in the 73rd minute.

There was still time left for Chelsea to add a fourth as Willian smashed home from the edge of the area to secure a comfortable win over 10-man Qarabag.

The result means Chelsea move two points clear at the top of Group C but Roma can reclaim first position if they beat Atletico Madrid in Spain this evening.
