By on December 17, 2017

A rampant Liverpool side moved back in to the top four in the Premier League table after thrashing Bournemouth 4-0 at Dean Court this afternoon.

The Reds opened the scoring in the 20th minute through a superb Philippe Coutinho effort as the Brazilian attacker dribbled his way in to the Bournemouth box before finding the bottom corner.

Liverpool doubled their advantage just five minutes later as Dejan Lovren was on hand to head home from close range after Roberto Firmino did well to keep the ball alive following a corner.

Jurgen Klopp’s side put the result beyond doubt when Mohamed Salah made it 3-0 shortly before half time as the Egyptian international beat the offside trap before cutting in on his left foot and curling home.

The Merseysiders added a fourth midway through the second half as Firmino glanced home a header from a Coutinho pass to seal a 4-0 victory that sees Liverpool leapfrog Arsenal in to fourth spot.
