[Teams] Everton vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-Ups From Goodison Park

By on December 23, 2017

Chelsea will be looking to cement their position in the top four when they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

Antonio Conte is without Alvaro Morata due to suspension so the Blues boss has opting to deploy Eden Hazard in a ‘false 9’ position up front with Pedro and Willian supporting the Belgian international.

Cesar Azpilicueta captains the side as Gary Cahill is named on the bench with Antonio Rudiger starting in defence along with youngster Andreas Christensen.

Tiemoue Bakayoko starts in midfield alongside N’Golo Kante with Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses in the wing-back positions.

Everton have been dealt a blow as Wayne Rooney has been ruled out due to illness so Tom Davies gets a start for the hosts.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Pickford, Kenny, Jagielka, Keane, Martina, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Davies, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin

Subs: Robles, Williams, Bolasie, Ramirez, Niasse, Holgate, Baningime.

Courtois; Azpilicueta (c), Christensen, Rudiger; Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Alonso; Willian, Hazard, Pedro.

Subs: Caballero, Cahill, Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Fabregas, Hudson-Odoi, Batshuayi
