3-5-1-1: Conte To Make 4 Key Changes | Expected Chelsea XI vs Arsenal

Chelsea will look to reclaim second spot in the table with a win when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

Here is the side we think Antonio Conte will pick for the game:

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois is almost certain to keep his place between the sticks with Willy Caballero offering back-up front the bench.

Defence: Chelsea have kept consecutive clean sheets against Brighton and Stoke but I still expect Conte to make one change at the back with Andreas Christensen returning after recovering from illness.

Antonio Rudiger is the man most likely to make way despite him getting among the goals at the weekend as skipper Gary Cahill should keep his place while Cesar Azpilicueta is almost certain to start once again.

David Luiz is continuing his recovery from a knee injury in training but this game comes too soon so he’ll be aiming to be back in action in the FA Cup game against Norwich at the weekend.

Midfield: Danny Drinkwater impressed and scored a fine goal during a rare start against Stoke on Saturday but the England international is still expected to drop to the bench tomorrow night.

N’Golo Kante will keep his place in the holding role while I expect Conte to deploy a three-man central midfield as he has done for most of the top games this season. That means Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas should be set for recalls after being named on the bench against Stoke.

Attack: The slight change in formation means Conte needs to lose one of his attackers but I think we’ll see Pedro and Willian make way despite both impressing at the weekend.

That’s because Eden Hazard is waiting to be recalled after being rested on Saturday and the Belgian international is expected to come back in to the side against Arsenal.

Alvaro Morata will have been disappointed not be among the goals during the 5-0 rout over Stoke but I still feel Conte will stick with the Spanish international up front and Michy Batshuayi offering support from the bench.

Here is how we think Chelsea will line-up:
