Man Utd Ready To Steal March On Chelsea With Big-Money Swoop For Tottenham Star

Manchester United are ready to steal a march on the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid by launching a big-money swoop for Tottenham hitman Harry Kane

The January transfer window is now open so clubs are working hard trying to strengthen their squads for the second half of the season and put deals in place for the summer. Today, Man Utd are linked with Harry Kane…

Manchester United are ready to steal a march on the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid by launching a big-money swoop for Tottenham hitman Harry Kane, according to reports in Spain via the Manchester Evening News.

Kane has developed in to arguably the best number 9 in European football having proven himself to be a prolific goal-scorer at White Hart Lane over the past few years.

The England international has scored 118 goals over the past three-and-a-half-years including 24 already this season so it’s no surprise he’s attracting interest from several top clubs.

The Manchester Evening News are citing a report from Don Balon that claims Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City are among the clubs chasing Kane’s signature.

Antonio Conte splashed out on Alvaro Morata in the summer but the Spanish international has proven to be inconsistent in front of goal and it seems Chelsea are now eyeing an audacious swoop for Kane.

Spanish giants Madrid have been strongly linked with the 24-year-old in recent weeks as Florentino Perez looks to find a long-term replacement for goal-shy striker Karim Benzema.

However, they will face some stiff competition as the MEN report claims that Man Utd are ready to steal a march on their rivals by launching a big-money move for the Spurs hitman.

United have been linked with Kane constantly in recent years and they are one of the few clubs who could realistically afford him if Tottenham ever decided to cash-in.

Mauricio Pochettino insists they will do all they can to keep Kane in north London and the striker has over four years left on his contract so no doubt it would take well in excess of £150m to tempt them in to a sale.

We’ll have to wait and see how things develop but I personally don’t think Kane will leave Tottenham any time soon as he seems content at White Hart Lane and isn’t pushing for a move.

It’s very unlikely that Harry will leave Tottenham. If he did, it would not be to another Premier League team. Can anyone seriously imagine Harry playing in the Premier League AGAINST Spurs?

Kane would cost anyone 400 million to even get Levy to sit at the table, then you have the fact that Kane has stated many times that he doesn’t want to leave Spurs. But if he ever did for whatever reason, he would NEVER play for another PL club, so manure can dream on as can Chelsky and Citeh.

On top of all of this, Spurs are going to give Kane a huge pay increase, taking him from 110K to 200K plus. The media can try all they like trying to sell our best players to their favourite clubs, not going to ever happen with Kane.

For leavy to sell Kane to man u, mourinho would have to stump up the the money to pay for that new stadium, its the only way DL would sell him to them. Can’t see this one especially as kane is linked with every club in the world. Just propaganda and trying to get fans used to the idea of him going. Real trashy journalism as usual..
