[Video Goals] Huddersfield 0- 3 Liverpool: Salah On Target Again For Rampant Reds

By on January 30, 2018

Mohamed Salah scored his 26th goal of the season as Liverpool cemented their position in the top four with a 3-0 victory at Huddersfield Town tonight.

The Reds opened the scoring midway through the first half when Emre Can rifled home a low powerful drive in to the bottom corner from outside the area in the 26th minute.

Liverpool doubled their advantage shortly before the break as Roberto Firmino somehow managed to find the back of the net from an impossible angle in first half stoppage time.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were then awarded a penalty in the 76th minute when Can was bundled down in the area. Mohamed Salah was given the chance to get on the score-sheet and he didn’t disappoint as he converted from the spot to secure a 3-0 victory.

The win sees Liverpool extend their lead over fifth placed Tottenham to five points while they move level on points with third-placed Chelsea ahead of their game with Bournemouth tomorrow night.
