[Video Highlights] Tottenham 1-0 Arsenal: Kane Scores Winner To Settle NLD

By on February 10, 2018

Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game as Tottenham Hotspur beat Arsenal 1-0 at Wembley to move third in the Premier League table.

The first half was a close, well contested affair with neither side able to create many clear-cut opportunities so the two teams went in at the break level at 0-0.

However, Tottenham took over in the second half and opened the scoring in the 49th minute when Kane rose above Laurent Koscielny to head in to the bottom corner for 1-0.

Spurs had a number of chances to make the scoreline more comfortable but Petr Cech denied Kane, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Kieran Trippier to keep the score at just one goal.

And Arsenal had a golden chance to snatch a draw in stoppage time after Alexandre Lacazette raced clear but the substitute dragged his shot wide of Hugo Lloris’s goal so Tottenham held on for the win.

The victory sees Spurs climb above Chelsea and Liverpool in to third position while Arsenal are now seven points adrift in sixth.
