Liverpool Given Green Light To Sign Midfielder In Bargain £25m Deal

Liverpool have been given the green light to push ahead with their pursuit of Dani Ceballos as Real Madrid are ready to sell the midfielder for just £25m

The transfer window is closed but managers are working hard on their plans for the summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, the latest on Dani Ceballos….

Liverpool have been given the green light to push ahead with their pursuit of Dani Ceballos after Real Madrid agreed to sell the midfielder for just £25m this summer, according to reports in Spain via TeamTalk.

Ceballos joined Madrid from Real Betis just last summer but the youngster has struggled to force his way in to Zinedine Zidane’s starting eleven on a regular basis this season.

The 21-year-old has started just 2 La Liga games and it’s led to speculation he’s already looking to leave the European giants after becoming increasingly frustrated with his bit-part role at the Bernabeu.

Ceballos was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool in January and TeamTalk suggest Jurgen Klopp has maintained his interest in signing the Spanish U21 international ahead of the summer.

Klopp is in the market for another midfielder as Emre Can is being tipped to leave having failed to agree terms over a new deal while the Reds are yet to replace Philippe Coutinho following his January move to Barcelona.

Ceballos is seemingly a key target for the Merseysiders and they’ve been handed a huge boost as TeamTalk are citing a report from AS that claims Madrid have agreed to sell the youngster to help fund their move for Carlos Soler.

The Spanish publication says Madrid have already opened talks with Valencia to sign the £70m-rated midfielder and are prepared to sell Ceballos for just £25m to help pay for the proposed deal.

That would be a bargain for a player of his quality in today’s market so I’m sure Liverpool will jump at the chance to sign Ceballos if they can lure him to Anfield this summer.
