Chelsea will be looking to get their top four push back on track when they take on West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Antonio Conte has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and has provided a team news and injury update ahead of the game.

The Blues boss confirmed a double injury boost with the news that Thibaut Courtois and Pedro are set to return to the squad for the London derby this weekend.

Courtois damaged his hamstring in training before the international break last month and was forced to miss the 3-1 defeat to Tottenham at the Bridge last Sunday.

However, the Belgian international returned to full training earlier this week and Conte has confirmed Courtois could be back to replace Willy Caballero between the sticks against West Ham.

Pedro also sat out the defeat to Spurs last weekend due to a minor muscle problem but the Spanish international is back in contention to face the Hammers this weekend.

Conte also revealed that David Luiz is still on the sidelines as the Brazilian centre-back continues to recover from a long-term ankle injury while Ethan Ampadu is also unavailable due to a broken ankle.

Conte told reporters:

The Blues boss didn’t provide any update on Davide Zappacosta after he missed the Tottenham defeat with a tendon injury but the full-back trained this week so should be available for selection.

Chelsea head in to the West Ham game sitting fifth in the table and eight points off fourth place so they desperately need a win on Sunday to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
