The transfer window may be closed but managers are working hard on their plans for the summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd are favourites to sign Richarlison…

Manchester United are favourites ahead of Tottenham and Chelsea to sign Watford’s £40m-rated attacker Richarlison this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Richarlison joined Watford from Fluminense in an £11.5m deal last summer and enjoyed an excellent start to life in the Premier League after providing 5 goals and 5 assists during his first 13 appearances.

The Brazilian attackers form has dipped in recent months as he hasn’t found the back of the net in his last 24 appearances and he’s recently lost his place in Javi Garcia’s starting eleven.

However, despite his recent struggles, it seems Richarlison’s early-season form has convinced plenty of clubs of his potential as the Daily Mail claim Chelsea, Tottenham and Man Utd are all showing a keen interest while Bayern Munich, PSG and Juventus are also keeping track of his situation.

Mauricio Pochettino is expected to further strengthen his squad this summer after another promising campaign while Chelsea could be in the market for an attacker amid speculation over the future of Willian and is seems the London duo are interested in signing Richarlison.

However, the Mail claim that United are the current favourites to land the 20-year-old after Jose Mourinho identified him as a potential replacement for Anthony Martial.

The French international’s future at Old Trafford is in serious doubt as Martial has struggled to hold on to a regular first team place and the newspaper says Mourinho is ready to cash-in and sign Richarlison as a replacement.

The Mail suggest that Martial’s sale would fetch around £60m so United would have plenty of money to cover the £40m Watford are demanding for Richarlison’s signature this summer.
