The transfer window may be closed but managers are working hard on their plans for the summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Hector Bellerin is linked with a move away from Arsenal….

Manchester United and Chelsea are plotting an audacious swoop on Arsenal for £35m-rated full-back Hector Bellerin this summer, according to reports in Spain via the Mirror.

Bellerin joined Arsenal’s youth system from Barcelona in 2011 and has become a regular in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven since breaking in to the first team squad in 2013.

The 23-year-old is now a vital member of the Arsenal side having made 44 appearances in all competitions so far this season and he was rewarded with a long-term contract that ties him to the club until 2023.

However, Bellerin’s future is now in serious doubt as he’s been tipped to leave the Emirates this summer following a disappointing campaign and recent reports have linked him with a move to Juventus.

However, the Mirror are citing a report from SPORT that claims Manchester United and Chelsea have also expressed their interest and are ready to battle-it-out over Bellerin’s signature this summer.

Jose Mourinho is on the look out for a new right-back as Antonio Valencia is coming towards the end of his career and it seems the United boss has identified Bellerin as a potential target.

Chelsea are also expected to further strengthen their squad following a poor season that’s destined to see them miss out on Champions League football and Bellerin is also apparently on their radar.

The Spanish publication says that Arsenal are ready to cash-in on the £35m-rated Spanish international in order to raise money to fund a post-Arsene Wenger squad rebuild this summer.

However, no doubt the Gunners will be reluctant to do business with direct rivals such as United or Chelsea if they do sell Bellerin so Juventus could be well-placed if the full-back ends up leaving the Emirates at the end of the season.
