The Liverpool players have flown-out to Kiev ahead of their Champions League final against Real Madrid after Jurgen Klopp named his squad for the match.

The Reds players flew-out of John Lennon Airport this afternoon and are due to arrive in Kiev later this evening where they’ll undergo their final preparations ahead of Saturday’s showdown.

The big news is that Emre Can is on the plane after returning to training this week having missed the final few games of the Premier League season with a niggling back injury.

It means the only players who are unavailable to Klopp are Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with the trio all ruled out due to long-term injuries.

Klopp is only able to name an 18-man match-day squad to face Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday night but he’s taken a 24-man squad with him to Ukraine this afternoon.

The Liverpool boss has taken three goalkeepers with Loris Karius, Simon Mignolet and Danny Ward all travelling while youngsters like Ben Woodburn and Rafael Camacho have also made the trip.

Obviously key players such as Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk are in the squad but others will be hoping to impress at tomorrow’s training session to force their way in to Klopp’s plans.

Liverpool will train at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on Friday evening in preparation for the final the following day so that will be the players last chance to make an impression before the big game.

Here is the 24-man squad, as confirmed on Liverpoolfc.com, along with some photos of the players leaving Merseyside this afternoon:

Karius, Clyne, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Firmino, Salah, Henderson, Klavan, Moreno, Mane, Lallana, Mignolet, Can, Robertson, Ings, Solanke, Phillips, Jones, Ward, Woodburn, Camacho, Alexander-Arnold.
