Player Confirms ‘Concrete Offer’ & Hints At Move Amid Reports Of £44m Man Utd Swoop

Manchester United target Ante Rebic has hinted he could make a move from Eintracht Frankfurt after confirming he’s received ‘concrete offers’ this summer

There is plenty of Manchester United gossip doing the rounds in the papers with the English giants linked with a whole host of star names. Today, Ante Rebic has hinted he could be on the move….

Manchester United target Ante Rebic has hinted he could make a late move away from Eintracht Frankfurt after confirming he’s received ‘concrete offers’ this summer, according to reports via the Mirror.

Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his frustration with United’s lack of transfer activity as Brazilian midfielder Fred has been the only significant addition so far with Lee Grant coming in as a third-choice goalkeeper and young full-back Diogo Dalot considered as a player for the future.

The Man Utd boss is hoping to bring in two more new recruits over the coming days with an attacker among the priorities as Anthony Martial is expected to force a move away from Old Trafford after going public with his desire to seek a fresh challenge this summer so a replacement is needed.

The Mirror reported last week that United chiefs have been pushing to sign Rebic after he impressed for Croatia at the World Cup this summer having helped them reach their first ever final before eventually losing to France.

The newspaper says Rebic is valued at £44m and the player has now hinted he could could secure a move away from Frankfurt after confirming he’s received ‘concrete offers’ for his services this summer.

Rebic is quoted by the Mirror as telling Goal.com:

“I had a great World Cup and an even better club season with Eintracht,”

“Yes, I know there are concrete offers, I keep in regular contact with my agent. I’m glad I proved that everyone can count on me, but as I said there is enough time left until transfer window closes.

“Most transfers are done during the last days [of the window] so that is when my situation will be more clear. Now I am an Eintracht player and I have returned to training with my team.”

The 24-year-old played for the likes of Fiorentina, RB Leipzig and Verona before joining Frankfurt on an initial loan in 2016 and he impressed over the past two years before making the move permanent this summer.

However, the Bundesliga outfit could now cash-in to turn a quick profit and it seems United are among the clubs showing a keen interest but it remains to be seen whether Mourinho will pull the trigger before Thursday’s deadline.
