[Confirmed Teams] Huddersfield vs Chelsea: Kante & Kepa Start, Hazard On Bench
Chelsea kick off their 2018/19 campaign when they take on Huddersfield at the John Smiths Stadium this afternoon.
Maurizio Sarri has handed Kepa Arrizabalaga his debut after he completed a world record move from Atheltic Bilbao last week while fellow summer signing Jorginho also makes his debut in midfield.
Cesar Azpilicueta starts in defence alongside Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz and Marcos Alonso with Andreas Christensen and Victor Moses named among the substitutes.
N’Golo Kante is passed fit to start in midfield along with Ross Barkley while Alvaro Morata leads the line up front with Olivier Giroud named on the bench.
Eden Hazard isn’t risked from the start as he’s lacking match fitness following his late arrival to pre-season training so Willian and Pedro start in attack.
