[Video Goals] Tottenham 3-1 Fulham: Trippier Scores Screamer As Spurs Sink Fulham

By on August 18, 2018

Harry Kane was among the goals as Tottenham Hotspur beat Fulham 3-1 at Wembley Stadium this afternoon to maintain their winning start to the new season.

With half-time approaching and the game goalless, Lucas Moura opened the scoring with a wonderful left-footed effort from the edge of the area to make it 1-0 in the 43rd minute.

Fulham equalised shortly after the break as Aleksander Mitrovic levelled things up with a close-range header in the 53rd minute as he headed home while sitting on the floor from a Ryan Sessegnon cut back.

Tottenham then restored their advantage as Kieran Trippier fired home a superb 25-yard free-kick in the 74th minute before Kane secured the three points just 2 minutes later as he cooly made it 3-1 with a lovely finish to score his first ever Premier League goal in August.

The win makes it two wins from two games for Mauricio Pochettino’s side after they beat Newcastle United last weekend.
