Alexandre Lacazette is considering his Arsenal future and could even make a late move to Europe before the end of the month, according to Le10Sport.

Lacazette joined Arsenal in a £52m deal from Lyon last summer and enjoyed a solid debut season in the Premier League under Arsene Wenger after providing 17 goals and 5 assists in his 39 appearances in all competitions.

However, the French international appears to have fallen out-of-favour under new boss Unai Emery as Lacazette has been named on the bench for each of our opening three games with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang preferred through the middle.

Many fans have been calling for Emery to play Lacazette and Aubameyang together and the two strikers have publicly said they feel they could enjoy a promising partnership but Emery said last week that he’s going to stick to playing just one of his hitmen from the start for the time being.

That hasn’t gone down well as Le10Sport claims Lacazette is now seriously considering his future in north London and is open to the idea of pushing for a move before the European transfer windows closes at the end of the week.

The French outlet says clubs have already made contact to request information on the 27-year-old’s situation they believe it’s not impossible that Lacazette could leave Arsenal before the window closes on Friday night.

At this stage of the summer you’d assume any move would have to be a loan, however, Arsenal are expected to do all they can keep hold of Lacazette as obviously we can’t sign a replacement until January.

Like many supporters, I’m disappointed that Emery hasn’t given Lacazette a chance to start up front with Aubameyang out wide as I think they’ve looked like dangerous when they’ve been on the pitch together.

However, I think talk of Lacazette leaving is premature as we’re only three games in to the new campaign and Arsenal aren’t going to let the striker leave without being able to replace him for 4/5 months.

If his situation doesn’t change over the coming months then speculation over his future will no doubt increase in January but I’d be shocked if Lacazette was to leave before the end of the month.
