Some Arsenal fans have slammed Aaron Ramsey on social media despite the midfielder supplying two assists during the win over Everton on Sunday afternoon.

Ramsey has been deployed in the No.10 role in recent weeks but has struggled to find his best form with the Welsh international putting in some very average performances against the likes of West Ham, Cardiff City and Newcastle United this month.

Unai Emery once again played Ramsey in the advanced attacking midfield position against Everton on Sunday afternoon which saw Mesut Ozil moved out to the right wing and neither player looked comfortable in their roles.

Ramsey did end up providing the passes which led to Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goals as we eased to a 2-0 victory to make it five consecutive wins in all competitions.

However, some Arsenal fans have taken to social media to slam Ramsey for his latest performance with a selection claiming we should sell the midfielder in January before his contract expires at the end of the season.

Others suggested the 27-year-old produced a 2/10 performance against the Toffees while some labelled the Welshman a ‘fraud’ and ‘invisible’ while questioning why he feels he deserves a reported £250,000-a-week new contract.

It’s safe to say Ramsey has been nowhere near his best so far this season and while his contract situation may be affecting his performances to a degree, I personally don’t think he’s suited to the No.10 role and would be far more comfortable playing deeper in midfield.
