Manchester United will look to put their Carabao Cup disappointment behind them when they take on West Ham at the London Stadium this lunchtime.

Jose Mourinho has handed Scott McTominay a surprise start with reports the youngster may be deployed in a back three while Paul Pogba also comes back in to the midfield alongside Nemanja Matic and Marouane Fellaini.

David De Gea gets a recall in goal after being rested for the Carabao Cup defeat to Derby County in midweek while Ashley Young captains the side at right-back with Luke Shaw starting on the left side of the defence.

Anthony Martial starts in attack along with Romelu Lukaku but there is no place for Alexis Sanchez in the Man Utd squad despite the attacker travelling to London on Friday so he may have picked up a late injury.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

West Ham

Fabianski, Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Mauaku, Rice, Noble, Obiang, Yarmolenko, Arnautovic, Anderson

Subs: Adrian, Ogbonna, Fredericks, Perez, Antonio, Diangana

Man Utd

De Gea, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, McTominay, Matic, Fellaini, Pogba, Lukaku, Martial

Subs: Bailly, Mata, Rashford, Grant, Fred, Ander Herrera, Darmian
