Liverpool will be looking to take control of Champions League Group C with a win when they take on Napoli at Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday night. Here is the team we think Jurgen Klopp will select:

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet was given a chance in the Carabao Cup last week but Klopp stuck with Alisson in their first Champions League group game with Paris Saint-Germain so I think the Brazilian will keep his place tomorrow night.

Defence: Klopp may be tempted to freshen things up in defence as they continue a gruelling run of games. Joel Matip is pushing for a recall alongside Virgil van Dijk meaning Joe Gomez could be given a rest.

Trent Alexander-Arnold should once again keep his place at right-back ahead of Nathaniel Clyne while Andrew Robertson continues to impress at left-back so Alberto Moreno may miss out tomorrow night.

Midfield: Fabinho made his first start in a Liverpool shirt during the Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea last week but he was back on the bench at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and I think Georginio Wijnaldum will keep his place in the holding role against Napoli.

Naby Keita was used as a substitute against Chelsea at the weekend but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him recalled tomorrow with Jordan Henderson the man most likely to make way as James Milner has been excellent for much of the season.

Attack: Mohamed Salah has failed to hit the heights of last season so far this campaign and he was substituted midway through the second half against Chelsea but the Egyptian international is still one of Liverpool’s most important players and I think he’ll retain his spot against Napoli.

Sadio Mane is also expected to keep his place in attack so Xhedran Shaqiri may have to make do with a place on the bench while Roberto Firmino is likely to lead the line up front despite pressure from Daniel Sturridge.

The England international scored a stunning equaliser late on at Stamford Bridge and scored another fine effort during the defeat to Chelsea in the League Cup last week but I still think Firmino will keep his place tomorrow.

Here is how I think Liverpool will line up:
