Liverpool take on Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium this evening. Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Liverpool will look to keep pace with the leaders at the top of the table with a win when they take on Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium this evening.

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes from the side that drew with Manchester City before the international break with Xhedran Shaqiri coming in for the injured Sadio Mane – who’s been ruled out after undergoing surgery on a broken hand last week.

Adam Lallana makes his first start of the season after overcoming a groin injury as Georginio Wijnaldum makes way while Daniel Sturridge is rewarded for his good recent form with a start up front meaning Roberto Firmino drops to the bench.

Dejan Lovren keeps his place in defence so Joe Gomez is once again at right-back with Trent Alexander-Arnold restricted to the bench. Virgil van Dijk is fit to start after overcoming a rib problem while Mohamed Salah is also passed fit despite picking up a knock on international duty.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Huddersfield Town

Lossl, Jorgensen, Schindler, Lowe, Hadergjonaj, Mooy, Hogg, Billing, Durm, Pritchard, Depoitre

Subs: Bacuna, Diakhaby, Hamer, van La Parra, Mbenza, Mounie, Stankovic

Liverpool

Alisson, Gomez, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Lallana, Shaqiri, Salah, Sturridge

Subs: Mignolet, Matip, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Origi, Firmino
