By on October 28, 2018

Chelsea moved up to second place in the Premier League table after easing to a 4-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor this afternoon.

Chelsea started well and opened the scoring midway through the first half as a flowing move led to Ross Barkley feeding Alvaro Morata with a lovely ball and the Spaniard finished well to make it 1-0 in the 22nd minute.

The Blues doubled their lead early in the second half as Barkley scored with a lovely left-footed shot from the edge of the box to make it 2-0 in the 57th minute.

The visitors didn’t wait long to seal the win as Willian completed a fine move by cutting inside and finishing low from 20-yards to make it 3-0 shortly after the hour mark.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek came off the bench to add a fourth goal in stoppage time as a rampant Chelsea side thrashed Burnley to move up to second in the Premier League and two points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
