Manchester United got back to winning ways with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

United started brightly and opened the scoring in the 13th minute thanks to a stunner from Ashley Young as he wriggled his way in to the box from the left wing before slamming home a superb shot in to the far top corner.

Jose Mourinho’s men made it 2-0 in the 28th minute as Juan Mata found the back of the net with a low first-time finish following some good work from Marcus Rashford down the left wing.

Any hope of the Fulham comeback was dented as United went in to the half-time break leading 3-0 when Romelu Lukaku got his name on the score-sheet with the Belgian international tapping home from close range after being teed-up by Mata.

Fulham were given a chance to get back in the game when Ander Herrera fouled Aboubakar Kamara in the area. The striker dusted himself off to convert from the spot and make it 3-1 in the 67th minute.

However, any chance of a late comeback vanished when Anguissa was sent off just one minute after Fulham’s goal and United wrapped up the points when Rashford rifled home past Rico at his near post from an acute angle.
