The January transfer window is just around the corner and managers are working hard on possible deals or identifying targets for the summer so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest rumours. Today, Arsenal and Chelsea are linked with Cengiz Under…

Arsenal and Chelsea are showing a keen interest in signing Roma’s £54m-rated attacker Cengiz Under ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports via the Express.
Under was a product of the youth system at Turkish club Altinordu and enjoyed a season at Basaksehir before joining Roma in July 2017 in a deal worth around £12m. The 21-year-old took a little time to settle in Italy but he found his form during the second half of last season and has continued to impress this campaign.
The young wingerhas provided 5 goals and 6 assists in his 20 appearances in all competitions so far while Under has also established himself at international level with 4 goals in 10 caps for the Turkish team.
His potential has caught the attention of several European clubs and the Express are citing a report from Transfer Market Web that claims Arsenal and Chelsea have joined the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in showing a keen interest in signing Under ahead of the January window.
Unai Emery is still undertaking a rebuilding job at the Emirates since replacing Arsene Wenger and Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a wide forward this winter after losing Danny Welbeck for the rest of the season to a broken ankle.
Welbeck is also expected to leave the north Londoners on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season and it seems the Gunners have identified Under as a potential replacement.
However, Arsenal will face plenty of competition for his signature, not least from rivals Chelsea, with the report also indicating that Maurizio Sarri is eyeing a possible swoop for Under when the window re-opens.
Rumours continue to link Eden Hazard with a move to Spain and Sarri needs more options to compete with Willian and Pedro in attack so Under would be a very useful signing if the Blues could lure him to Stamford Bridge.
But Arsenal and Chelsea also face a battle to persuade Roma to do business as they will no doubt do all they can to hold on to the Turkish winger this winter, especially with a very winnable Champions League last-16 clash with Porto coming up, so the Express suggests they would demand around £54m before sanctioning any deal.
