The Manchester United players celebrated wildly in the changing room following their dramatic Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils went in to last night’s game needing to create history by becoming the first club ever to overturn a 2-0 home first leg defeat to progress in a Champions League knockout tie.

They had a dream start at the Parc des Princes as Romelu Lukaku pounced on a poor back-pass to round Gigi Buffon and slid home the opening goal from a tight angle in the second minute before PSG levelled things up ten minutes later.

United restored their lead through Lukaku after a mistake by Buffon and they were awarded a controversial stoppage time penalty after the referee used VAR to judge that Presnel Kimpembe had handled in the area.

Marcus Rashford kept his cool to fire home the spot kick to secure a famous 3-1 victory for Man Utd which booked their place in the quarter finals of the Champions League on away goals following the 3-3 aggregate draw.

The result sparked wild celebrations from the players on the pitch as they enjoyed the moment in front of the travelling supporters and those celebrations continued into the changing room with Diogo Dalot sharing a video on Instagram.

Legendary former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and former striker Eric Cantona joined the players in the changing room while Patrice Evra celebrated the win with suspended midfielder Paul Pogba in the stadium.

Attackers Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial – who missed the game through injury – also shared video’s of themselves celebrating the dramatic win as the squad enjoyed a miraculous comeback.
